We are The Liver Centre WA
Established in 2013, The Liver Centre WA is led by Profesor Delrivière, who has been involved in over 1,000 liver transplants throughout his career in renown institutions such as King’s College Hospital, London and Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge. He is the senior liver transplant surgeon of the WA Liver Transplant Service.
All of our team share common values of integrity, team spirit, commitment, empathy and hard work.
We are here to offer you support and management with any disease of liver, including fatty liver disease, benign liver lesions, liver cysts, liver cancer, and jaundice.
Our practice manager and practice receptionists are also an important part of our team, ensuring the smooth and efficient day to day running of our practice and as well as offering a highly personalised and friendly attention to each and every one of our patients and colleagues.
About The Liver Centre WA
At The Liver Centre WA we work as a team of highly skilled surgeons, as well as hepatologists, gastro-enterologists and accredited dietitians.
The range of surgeries performed at The Liver Centre WA is broad and includes treatment and surgery for liver cysts, benign liver lesions, liver cancer, fatty liver disease, and jaundice.
The unique setup of our team gives you an all-in-one service as a patient. The preparation and coordination of your medical procedure, the consultations to discuss your diagnosis and the aftercare plan including dietary advice, are all coordinated by our clinical team.
We treat every patient, their family and their loved ones with absolute kindness and care and strive to understand each patient’s needs through attentive and trusted communication.
Our Surgeons, Physicians and Dietitians
Transplant & liver surgeons, as well as Upper GI surgeons all specialise in their specific treatments and surgeries. Yet, because they all work in the upper abdominal area of the human body, their shared and combined expertise is extremely valuable. This is why we decided to create a unique collaborative approach to surgery and The Liver Centre WA was born. Surgeons, hepatologists, gastroenterologists and dietitians now work together in a collective effort to never give up on your health.
We have a unique commitment to ensure that two specialist surgeons are present, working together, during your surgery. As part of our personalised post-operative after-care, we visit our patients every day during their hospitalisation, including Saturdays and Sundays, to assure that care is always optimal.
Our patients and medical colleagues feedback to us time and time again that the care and friendliness from our staff is the best they have seen. Our team of staff are 100% committed to their patients and they each love what they do. It’s that simple.
